Resilience rooted in family.

Born in Mexico and raised in Chantilly, Virginia, Diana is an Environmental Science student at George Mason University with a deep passion for animal conservation. As the daughter of immigrant parents, Diana witnessed firsthand the challenges her family faced while building a better future. From a young age, she took on adult responsibilities early, helping her family manage finances and navigate life in a new country. These experiences shaped her resilience and sparked a lifelong mission to support underserved families, ensuring they don’t face the same struggles.

As a first-generation college student, Diana is committed to using her education to advocate for wildlife protection, sustainable practices, and social equity. She is excited to bring her work ethic, and enthusiasm to her new role here at PJI Law, where she looks forward to gaining valuable experience while making a positive impact on the team and clients alike.

Outside of work and school, Diana loves to go hiking, volunteering at animal shelters, going to concerts, and taking long walks with her friends to hit their 10k step goal everyday. You can always catch her doing her daily games in the New York Times, as well as Bracket City in The Atlantic! These activities help her stay connected to nature and inspire her personal and professional growth.
